Jonas Nation | Web Developer Portfolio

Get to know me

Hi, My name is Jonas Nation.

I started my development journey in 2019 when I decided to go back to school to get my bachelor's degree in computer science. Coming from a non development background and with no coding experience, at times, it felt like I was in over my head. Having to maintain my duties as a father and husband, while working full time made things interesting to say the least.

The desire and passion I have for development drives me. I am ready to bring my strong sense of dedication and responsibility, along with my varied skillset, to an organization to make an immediate impact as a valuable member of your development team.

My experience

I am happy I chose Rasmussen University to pursue my degree. The instructors and resources provided made my learning experience great. My knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is solid. My understanding of SQL, data structure, and algorithms are strong.

Graduate with honors

I love things that challenge me and I was pushed to perform at my best. Every quarter I made the dean's list as well as the honor roll. Maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA and finished with a 3.8 GPA, not to shabby!

Laugh any?

Joke of the day!

A guy goes in for a job interview and sits down with the boss. The boss asks him, “What do you think is your worst quality?” The man says “I’m probably too honest.” The boss says, “That’s not a bad thing, I think being honest is a good quality.” The man replies, “I don’t care about what you think!”
